I didn't get a lot of sleep last night... The sounds of coitus and
slamming doors kept me awake for a while... Once I finally did get to
sleep, though, I slept pretty soundly... I had to get up to check out of
the motel, though. I packed my things and checked out... as I was
loading my car there was a rather attractive woman in the swimming pool
who seemed quite interested in showing off the thong she was
wearing. Normally, I wouldn't think she was trying to get people
to look at her butt, but it was pretty obvious.. She'd bend over and
pick something off the ground, then look back and smile... Works for
me!
I headed to Sugarland, to hook up with Scotty (Spreadman) again, and his plan was to show me around the city so I could get a feel for it. We hit the Galleria first, and had some lunch, and checked out the women there... Daaaaaaaamn! There are some amazingly hot women in this town, there were a couple that literally made my jaw drop. Ouch. I'm also noticing that the women in this area all seem to be particularly large breasted. Must be something in the water, but I'm certainly not complaining! After lunch we headed over to the Transco Fountain (seen above), and spent a few minutes there, then we headed down to Westheimer, and up into the museum district, and then over to the hospital district. On the way back, we stopped by a local Ford dealer that had a Cobra R on display and took a few pictures. Scotty had to beat down a salesman who seemed intent on getting him to buy a new yellow Cobra. We checked out a new Lightning while I was there... don't like the new rims, and those taillights have RICE written all over them. The Indiglo gauges are pretty bizarre, too. It was late afternoon by that point, so we headed back to Scotty's parent's place for dinner... his mom and dad were barbecueing, and we got in on it.... I had one of the biggest t-bone steaks I've seen in a while, it had to be over a pound. This thing was huge and over an inch thick. But damn, was it good. I haven't had beef this good in a long time... I'd forgotten just how much better it is. Man, was I stuffed!! After dinner Scotty and I visited his friends Carl and Kathleen... we were still full from dinner so we just vegged out on the couch and watched some TV for a while, counter pointed by some hilarious WWF style wrestling action between his three cats. The night was still young, so we headed out and cruised down Westheimer to see if there was any street racing action going on... And lo and behold, there was a large group of people gathering in a parking lot along the side of the road.... there must have been 70 cars there, every variety. Imports, domestics, low riders, everything. There was a black WS6 doing donuts... burnouts left and right... Lots of people cruising in and out, and the constant thump of subwoofers... We hung out there for a while, I snapped some pictures, and we met up with a few members of the local Mustang group, as well as a couple of LS1 owners... Right about then, the cops showed up at the parking lot and started running everyone off. So we hopped in the car, and headed out... Followed by the rest of the people in the parking lot... So suddenly the streets were filled with tons of cars looking for a little street racing action. We decided to just make a lap of Westheimer and call it a night... I saw a few cars street racing... A 454 SS pickup was messing with a Honda CRX... apparently pissed him off and prompted a most hilarious display of it's lack of power. There were tons of Mustangs, a handful of F-bodies, imports galore... all kinds of cars out. We cruised for about another 45 minutes or so, and then it was time to head home for the evening. I spent the night at Scotty's parents house.... Aaaaaaaaaaaah. It was nice to get a good night's sleep. Thanks a ton to Scotty and his parents for all their hospitality. I gotta say, Texas is definitely awesome when it comes to that. Tomorrow.... Houston in the morning, Austin in the afternoon. <<previous ----- <<schedule>> ----- next->> |
