Teepee #9 was to be my resting place for the evening.

The Wigwam Motel is another remnant of the former Route 66 trail.

The accommodations are also somewhat nostalgic inside the wigwam.

The furnishings are sparse, but functional.

No phone line inside, but at least it's got cable TV.

In the back there is a small bathroom with a shower.

The owners have parked a number of classic cars around the parking lot to give it that "nostalgic" look. 

I ended my day as the sun set over the first row of teepees at the Wigwam Motel.
