Arches National Park
Double Arch Section

Double Arch is one of the more impressive sights Arches National Park has to offer.

This is the view from the parking lot in front of Double Arch, which is off to the right of center in this picture - the rock walls behind the arches sometimes make them "disappear" from your view.

Another look at the landscape around Double Arch, which is visible off the the left side of this picture.  Do you see it?

Maybe after comparing to this picture you can locate it... The arches become visible as you walk closer to the structure.

Two arches formed from the same section of rock, and are joined on the left side of the opening.

The half moon was visible through the humungous opening of the rearward arch.

A look upward from the rocks below the arch.

Another look at the rearward arch, the people surrounding it give you an idea of how completely huge these arches are.

Here you can see what will probably become new arches hundreds of years from now.

I had to take a picture of this rather phallic looking rock in from of the area.... You can see Double Arch just off to the right of it.
