I stopped in Trinidad, Colorado for a delicious bounty of Mickey D's, and to survey the collection of dead bugs on the front of my Alero.  Yuck!

Moments later I saw the "Welcome to New Mexico" sign, which meant I wasn't far away from Raton.

I always loved the drive from Trinidad to Raton, it's quite beautiful.
