20 I saw this notice posted outside a seedy club on 6th Street in Austin, Texas, and really like how it added to the "dive" kind of charm the bar had.  I didn't ever listen to a band there, so I have no idea what they attract with this kind of approach.
19 Shades of "Alien Autopsy".  This was an exhibit at the UFO Museum & Research Center in Roswell, NM.  These were apparently props that were used in an HBO special on the UFO phenomenon and Roswell.
18 A sweeping view of the Grand Canyon as seen from a viewpoint near the Visitor Center on the south rim.  This is probably the first view of the Grand Canyon most people get.
17 The sun setting over central Utah on Day 2 of my journeys across the Western US.  This was a particularly moving moment for me, and convinced me that forging ahead would bring me many more precious memories such as this one.
16 A waterfall in Mt. Rainier National Park.  The cool weather, and the sound of the rushing water welcome me back to my home on Day 19 of my trip.
15 Perhaps my favorite stop on my trip, Bryce Canyon National Park in southwestern Utah.  This is the view from an area that is aptly named Inspiration Point, and it definitely is quite an inspiring sight to see.
14 Delicate Arch majestically stands over the mountainous terrain of Arches National Park in eastern Utah.  Climbing up to see this formation was one of the more difficult tasks of my trip, and that made seeing it up close all that much more special of a memory to savor.
13 Another waterfall in Mt. Rainier National Park, which runs under a stone bridge on the road down the mountain.  The sound of the rushing water beneath you is very relaxing.
12 The towering columns of Bryce Canyon along the Navajo Loop trail from the Sunset Point viewpoint.  The trail takes you right between many massive formations, and gives you a great "up close" look at how they were created.
11 The Courthouse Towers stand tall against the breathtaking landscape of the Park Avenue section of Arches National Park.  This was a relatively mild hike, about a mile long.
10 The 119 and the Jupiter face each other in a re-enactment of the completion of the East - West railroad at Golden Spike National Historical Site in northern Utah.  These two engines met on this track on May 10, 1869 and forever changed the western part of our country.

9 Transco Tower reaches upward to the sky in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas.  I wanted to take a more unusual picture of this building, so I snapped this while lying on my back in the grass courtyard between the tower and the Transco Fountain.
8 Millions of years of erosion and natural forces left this 8,000 lb boulder perfectly balanced atop of rock column in Arches National Park.
7 The dome of the Texas state capitol building in Austin, TX casts soft light down into the atrium below.
6 Another of the many scenic vistas that Washington State has to offer.  This is a roadside lake I came across on the way home from Mt. Rainier.  The sun had just gone down, and helped capture the serenity of this scene.
5 Giant rock columns dwarf the trees of Bryce Canyon National Park. The setting sun makes the bright colored rock of these pillars glow like a fire.
4 The Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, AZ offers a nostalgic trip back in time to the days of Route 66.  The owners placed classic cars, such as this 50's Oldsmobile, outside several of the teepees to enhance the nostalgic look of this motel.
3 The front opening of Double Arch is the third largest of all the arches in Arches National Park.  Getting to Double Arch is very easy, as it's only about .5 miles from the parking lot.
2 A lake on the side of the road, and the right lighting conditions provided a "Kodak moment" photo opportunity.  I saw this view and drove past, then quickly turned around to snap a picture of this beautiful mountain scene.

And the number 1 picture is.....

1 Bryce Canyon..

A small crack between two monstrous rock pillars offers the only way to continue through the Navajo Loop trail.  I found this particular view so amazing, I stood in the shade next to it for about 20 minutes and admired it's beauty.
